Paris, 1930. Salvador Dalí and Luis Buñuel are the main figures of the surrealist movement, but Buñuel sees how all doors are closed to him after the disgraceful premiere of his first film, La Edad de Oro. However, his friend, the sculptor Ramón Acín, buys a lottery ticket with the crazy promise that, if he wins, he will pay the documentary that his friend wants to shoot in Las Hurdes, one of the poorest regions of Spain. Incredibly, luck is on his side, the ticket wins the Christmas lottery, and his friend keeps his promise. A beautiful story, a fascinating episode of film history and a journey where Luis becomes Buñuel.
